DESIGN DETAIL

As we go about making eyewear, inherent symmetry is always on our minds. Every piece we design and build is a “pair” in the sense of two elements working as one. A frame to support the lens, a design to look great on you, and superior optics to make the world look great to you. We symbolize this in our work by two parallel lines (//) which you can discover peppered throughout our design vocabulary.

Our custom-coined core wire, which runs through the temple of every acetate frame we make, has just such a detail. From a practical point of view, the core wire holds the temple shape and allows for fit adjustment. From a designers point of view, it is an opportunity to showcase jewelry-like detailing to add those discoverable elements to your glasses. It’s all in the details.
