Taste & See: Mast Brothers

Mast Brothers chocolate is equal parts magic and method. Cacao beans come from faraway lands like Madagascar and Belize, and recipes boast unexpected flavor profiles, including herbs and smoke. Yet their innovative approach still pays respect to the precise technique of beautifully made confectionaries. Simply put, the chocolate is exceptional. Mast opened up their Los Angeles factory last month, and in the spirit of transparency their doors are literally open to the public 7 days a week, inviting anyone to take a tour, glass walls and all.  To celebrate their recent opening, their LA team invited us on a private tour, giving us a closer look…and taste.
